The Guild of Environmental and Energy Technology

The Guild of Environmental and Energy Technology, briefly YKI, was founded in 1996. You recognize a member of YKI from his or hers green overalls. Guild's goal is to provide free-time activities to its members and ease the stress of the studies. For this reason YKI arranges excursions, parties and sauna evenings. It also maintains exam archive and publishes Finnish journal called Indikaattori. YKI's biggest annual events are Ei Tipu!-party, ordinarily held during the Easter, Porobleet in December and Kellarihumppa, where you can get a glimpse of traditional Finnish dance culture.

YKI's guild room is located in Konetalo (K1727). There are comfy sofas in the guild room, so don't hesitate to stop by for a cup of coffee. Please contact us for any additional information.
